My friends and I had a nice stay at the hotel. Our room way tidy with a nice view however it was very hot in the room. Our room service dinner was yummy but a little on the pricey side. Overall a nice hotel.”
A great deal when booked in advance, this hotel had everything I needed for an overnight stay right downtown Halifax (except wireless internet in the room, a big downer). Although the hotel is scheduled to close in early 2012 to be torn down and rebuilt, the facilities, including restaurant, pool and fitness room, were all in fine shape. Best value for a real hotel right downtown Halifax (at least for now)!”
The hotel was very nice. Despite this, it was very loud due to some young sport team(s) staying there and running around the hallways screaming and slamming doors. The attached hotel bar played loud music late into the night. They should also consider creating a designated smoking area somewhere outside away from the entrance...every time you walked in and out of the hotel, you walked through thick smoke from groups of people smoking right outside the door.”

Went to Sydney to see Jerry Seinfeld, hotel was a 2 minute drive to the Centre 200 and Casino. Comfortable beds, really clean!!!! Only 1 thing that bothered me was having to pay for parking. I travel alot over Canada and the US and have never had to pay for parking at any other hotel. Having said that it wouldn't deter me from staying there again.”
We caught up with Harry and Ella, friends from Morden, MB and recommended they stay at Comfort Inn and they booked in and got a better deal than anticipated.”
The room size and cleanliness were very good. The restaurant food was also inexpensive and also quite good. The Continental breakfast was nothing to speak of - should be downgraded to a grab a snack and go! Overall as good or better than any big city hotel that I've stayed at. Also to note the staff were friendly and helpful!”
Easily a 10 overall....great service...easy check in / check out, nice clen spacious rooms, although the bath room was a bit small, but not really an issue...great freindly staff.....will definately stay there again....Thanks”
This hotel was a convenient stop for us. Room was clean, bed was super comfy, and lots of restaurants (mostly fast food) nearby which was lucky because we pulled in at 9, starving. Heating/cooling system was difficult to figure out--both wall and floor unit were involved. One complaint: breakfast is served, but there were 3 little cafe tables for the whole hotel. Had to take breakfast back to our room--a hassle.”
Nice hotel with good waterslide. Pool a little shallow for swimming, but guess it's really all about the slide. Very comfortable room, and good continental breakfast. Within walking distance of Saltscapes Restaurant, which was also very good - new, and similar to Cracker Barrel in the US.”
