My husband, mother in law and I stayed here for a week while arranging her visa. It is perfectly situated next to the consulate, finger print office, medical clinics and one block across the street from a beautiful shopping mall. Of all the hotels in the area, I believe it has the best accessibility to everything you need within walking distance. The hotel is well kept and equipped. The pool area is larger than I expected with a large sun bathing, sitting and eating area. If you have to stay in Juarez, this is a good and safe option!”
Walking distance to everything u need! consulate, medical exam or to get ur finger prints, reception very friendly & helpfull...goood breakfast and the free happy hr all u can drink for 1hr is good to :)”
I was worried on this hotel because of the reviews. First room i didn't like. The card reader was not working and the AC/Heater kept going on and off... I rested for a while then went to front desk and changed my room right away... MUCH BETTER! My 2 year old had a pleasant time! although the "refrigerator" is not very cold... The pool was great, the water was warm and the gym is what my husband liked the most... Not walking distance of places to visit. Taxi charges about 100 pesos round trip to short distances. OVERALL very good! Staying here for about a week...”
This hotel offers an overall good service for reasonable rates. The rooms are rather small but it definitely caters to business travelers. The only downfall was that there was some construction going on on the back side of the hotel by the parking lot and the workers were at it 24/7, our first night there was NOT peaceful and quiet. We ended up upgrading to the executive suite and it faced the front of the building, got us away from the noise. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating Overall it was a satisfactory experience.”
Hotel Casa Grande is close to Tech de Monterrey, Chihuahua and is only a few minutes from downtown. The neighborhood is a bit limited on options but there is an Oxxo close by and Los Nogales Restaurant on the hotel premises is excellent for breakfast - and open late. This hotel is much quieter than other hotels I've stayed at in Mexico. For the money, it's a great price. Plus, the beds are super comfortable!”
I was very pleased with my accommodations at Best Western Cumbres Aeropuerto, and even more so with the friendliness, efficiency and helpfulness of all the staff. Add to that convenience to the airport and free shuttle service, I recommend it highly.”
Friendly and very supportive staff, nice and well equiped rooms, hotel in an interesting "wild west" style”
My son and I stayed at Casa Margarita's. We had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed in other hotels on our trip through Mexico this hotel was not the highest quality. It is a budget hotel, but it has something that other hotels did not. A feeling your are being treated as you mattered and an at home feeling. Besides the price/value is outstanding, the breakfast and dinner were simple but outstanding. The meal sizes were not big but they were adequate and I have a big appetite. The Mexican coffee with cinnamon was out of this world. I had 6 cups for breakfast. They even threw in a beer for dinner. Sure they kind of pushed you into their tours but the tours were great. Remember in Mexico everything is negotiable so you can negotiate the tour prices. In addition, we met so many nice people in the hotel that we want to keep in touch with. I live in Los Angeles and I highly recommend this hotel. We are coming back next year since we did not give ourselves enough time to see everything there is too see in this area. The drug problem is scaring people away from the Copper Canyon and I did not see that many foreign tourists in the area. Fortunately, Mexican tourists are visiting in large numbers. We came by bus from El Paso, Texas and we encountered no problems at all. The dangers are greatly exaggerated. Mexico is safe.”
