This is a great hotel, the rooms are clean, big and modern. I think all the rooms have a small balcony and a big tv. There is also a nice pool. For me the best hotel in Palenque but I can't compare with other hotels there.”
Great hotel, clean, comfortable room great food service. My only complaint is the housekeeping staff did not pay attention to the 'do not disturb sign' .”
the hotel is far away from the airport. if you don't have mexican pesos they won't exchage us dollars”
The hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They made our stay very pleasant. Everything was sparkling clean. Walk to downtown is 20 minutes. The OCC bus station is a short walk from the hotel. A real plus. A very good place to stay for the price.”
I found the hotel adequate for an overnight stay. It is not a vacation hotel but is good if you need a decent place to stay. Price is comparable to other hotels in the area.”
one of the best hotels we have been. perfect location' in the heart of san cristobal. close to all the major important places. very comfortable rooms. very helpfull and kind stuff.”
Only a few bad points. Could not provide us with a little boiling water to fill a hot water bottle. Several of the rooms including ours were very near conference facilities or public areas although I must saw this did not cause an issue on our stay could you could imagine the noise being bad at busy times. No heating in room but this is pretty standard for san cris and beds were well covered but mattressed old. No vents in bathroom not good after shower. In all very clean rooms, lots of hot water in the shower, good selection of tv channels, friendly staff, very central location and handy with parking. On our experience a good one.”
This hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance from the main Plaza, Cathedrals, street market and other tourist attractions. The interior is unique and somewhat romantic, with no two rooms being exactly the same, a lot of cool public areas and private corners to hang out in and an access to the rooftop where you can sit under the stars. The staff speaks English a little. Cons: The priorities may be different during summer months but we were there around New Year's Eve, and it was pretty cold outside (for Mexico). So, our room was somewhat cold and damp. Most importantly, there was no hot water! After the first day we asked if that could be fixed and finally got hot water running... in the sink, but not in the shower! Also, for you light sleepers: our room on the 1st floor was next to some water pipe and the murmur could be heard at all times. Check in advance. We would probably come back given that they definitely fix hot water.”
Great place with a friendly staff that spoke enough English to answer all questions. Wireless interent was available all over the property and at a high speed. Around a two hundred peso cab ride back to Puerto Chiapas and a 20 minute walk from the center of town. Also the pool area is very well shaded and the wait staff was great and the food was also very good.”
