Hotels in British Columbia

We stayed here for one night on return from Whistler while waiting on our flight home. Very comfortable hotel, within walkin distance of Sky train, waterfront and downtown bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and hotel amenities were good including the swimming pool. Taxi to the airport was only 30 dollars.

Overall a great experience. Please be aware that they building another hotel immediately behind the Georgian Court. The drilling into bedrock starting at 8:00 am did not allow for sleeping in. Of course, not fault of the Georgian Court, but this info may help you decide to stay. cheers

Friendly staff and very industrious new manager. Room cleaniless in some areas could be improved. Excellant location for seeing Victoria. Excellant restaurant adjoining property. Very relaxing atmosphere at this hotel.

Excellent hotel, new and clean. Big rooms with all facilities you can imagine. Only catch is that they tried to charge for parking even though there was no mention of any extra charge when I booked. They waived it when I explained but very annoying to have to fight for this on arrival!

We were given coupons upon check-in for the lounge/tapas bar. We went and enjoyed the "The Veneto" very much. The room was large and comfortable with modern decor. It was our first time and I would definitely go back.

You get what you pay for and more at the River Rock Resort. All the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and the amenities were top notch. I recommend this place for a convenient and reasonably priced getaway.

Great central location in Richmond, close to the airport and mall. Very polite front desk and cleaning staff. Parkade is really difficult to drive and park (tight corners and spots). Heating/air wasn't working well in the room and the free breakfast was less than stellar. (food was wrong serving temp, over or under cooked). Service was great in the restaurants. Carver's is awesome.

It was OK but sure would have liked a small table in the room and get rid of the over stuffed couch and automan. They are not comfortable and the room saved would be great for a table to play cards, eat and or place the laptop upon. Room cleaning was great. Very friendly maids.

The staff were extremely pleasant in each interaction. The room was decent with a comfy king sized bed. The breakfast was simple, but enough to start your day on. I would def. recommend for the price that we paid.

This hotel was great, except........when we tried to make coffee in our room the coffee maker didn't work properly. We asked at the front desk and they said that someone would be up to look at it right away, we waited about 1/2 hour, without anyone coming. It wasn't really that big of a deal, and by now we were ready to go downstairs and have breakfast, which was good. Upon checkout, we asked again and were told that someone had checked it out and it was working fine. I was disappointed that our concern seemed not to be taken seriously. I don't know if someone actually checked it out or not. Otherwise our stay was quite pleasant.

Would prefer that your website had a telephone number so that I could speak to the hotel directly and make bookings directly. Do not appreciate booking with agencies that have never been there. Also, I found it unusual to have to pay for rooms in advance of arrival and departure. Also, air conditioning units are dated, and noisey. For the record this stay was the fourth year in a row so I am very familiar with your hotel.
