    It appeared that my bathroom floor had not been cleaned in some time, judging by the filthy corners. Although I had been planning to take a shower before departing, the tub was dirty. I did not want to wait for housekeeping to clean it, so I did not shower that day. KUDOS to the (female) manager with whom I registered, for her kindness, personal attention, and thoughtfulness, for accomodating me in a first floor room. With no elevator, my forearm tendinitis would have worsened from hauling 2 suitcases up and down.
