Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Crestview

I stayed one night in this hotel for a business trip and it is brand new and VERY nice, clean and comfortable...however, at 11:30pm I was in a deep sleep and all of a sudden someone comes busting through my door!!! They immediately go back out, but I was so terribly freaked out so I called the front desk to let them know someone had just come in my room, and they said, "yeah, that was our mistake...your credit card had apparently declined so we had that no one was in that room so we put someone else in there". Ok, the fact that my cc declined is a side issue since I was traveling on my company's card and apparently had maxed it out in all my traveling. But they didn't let me know this at the time, and how safe can the hotel be that someone can just get in to your room like that??! I can't explain the terror that came over me, being a woman staying by myself I was ready to go into major defense-mode! I defintiely expected them to comp my room since I did not sleep for the rest of the night because I was so anxious...but they didn't.

We really liked everything except that a vent in the bathroom (rm 206)seemed to be shared with the people next door and conversations could be overheard which took a little of the privacy away that you sort of expect when you go to the bathroom. Besides that we enjoyed our brief rest stop and were quite comfortable.
