    Although the rooms and bathrooms are small they are clean and well maintained. The hotel is old but charming. The breakfast was more than I expected. The staff was pleasant and hard working. Parking is a problem. There are about 8 spaces for fifty rooms. If you don't get one of those you have to pay. You even have to pay to park on the street, and even then you might not find a space close to the hotel. The elevator is sketchy. We didn't use it. We don't mind exercise so the stairs were not a problem for us; but,for those not used to it the stairs could be a problem. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Columba very much and would return.

Location. The Columba Hotel is located in Oban, Scotland, by the Sound of Kerrera. The historic McCaig's Tower and train station are 300 metres from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Situated on the seafront and overlooking the ocean, The Columba Hotel is a Victorian property that offers 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff. Parking is available nearby.

A daily buffet breakfast is available in the onsite Alba restaurant, which also serves traditional Scottish dishes; light meals and snacks are served in the Pier Café. A complimentary full Scottish breakfast is served daily.

Guestrooms. The 50 guestrooms are spread over three floors and are accessible by lift. All have large windows and carpeted floors, and include satellite television, wireless Internet access, direct-dial phones, desks, and coffee and tea facilities. Bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
