    No eating table in the room, had to eat on the bed. There was pigeon droppings everywhere, had to walk through daily. Contact(Loraine/Loretta?) said she would clean up for us and never did. Be sure your paperwork spells out check-in time, ours did not and contact was rude about us being there a little early. It is a new facility, should have shown better. The highlight was the gate guard attendant, what a great sense of humor, we would go back just to interact with him.

Location.Legacy Villas is adjacent to at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif. The property is nestled in a canyon in the Santa Rosa Mountains in the Coachella Valley. Two golf courses at the La Quinta Country Club are one-half mile away, and three PGA WEST golf courses are within seven miles of the property. Exclusive boutique shops line the El Paseo shopping district in the city of Palm Desert less than eight miles away.

Features. This Spanish Colonial style property resides in a gated community with 24-hour guard access. Legacy Villas offers nine community pools and saltwater spa tubs. The property features 19 fountains, reflection pools and promenades lined with date palms, citrus trees and colorful flowers. The clubhouse offers the Legacy Grille & Bar, a date palm hammock garden, activity lawn, outdoor fireplaces and meeting rooms. A family pool with spa tub and play area, adult pool with spa tub, poolside cabanas, lap pool and fitness facility are also located at the clubhouse.

Guestrooms. The villas, townhomes and studios at Legacy Villas offer kitchens with granite-slab countertops and backsplashes, self-cleaning electric ovens with gas cooktops, refrigerators, microwaves and dishwashers. The units feature gas fireplaces. Bathrooms offer deep soaking tubs, glass-enclosed showers and granite-slab counters. Living rooms and bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Washers and dryers are provided in all units.
