    Swiss Garden is quite a nice hotel but could be better! Staff are polite and easy going, Service is very good if you can get it. The restaurant by the pool is very difficult to get peoples attention and very frustrating. I was brought the incorrect order on numerous occasions. The beach is quite dirty and a simple daily clean up would do wonders!!! And its easy to do. The hotel could do w/ some renovations as it is very dark in areas when you come out of the lift...the double doors always seem to jam and the lifts are slllooooowww. Rooms are very nice especially on the sea view side. I have stayed many times and would stay again because it is convenient for work. Otherwise I would stay at the Kuantan Hyatt as the beach and pools are nicer!

Location. Swiss Garden Resort and Spa, Kuantan is located in Kuantan, Malaysia, on a white-sand South China Sea beach, 15 kilometers from the city center.

Hotel Features. The beachfront Swiss Garden Resort and Spa is set in grounds covered with tropical foliage, trees and expanses of lawn. Samsara Spa provides Balinese massage and other treatments using traditional herbal products. The resort also features a large landscaped freeform pool and sun deck, a children's pool, tennis courts, a steam room, a sauna and a fitness center. Dining options include Garden Terrace, which offers all-day dining, and The Blossom, which serves Chinese Halal cuisine during lunch and dinner hours. The resort also offers a deli. Parrot Bar, located under a canopy of trees, serves cocktails, juices and satay. Malibu Club provides drinks, live music, DJs and dancing. Complimentary breakfasts are served daily. A business center and conference facilities also are on site, and wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee.. Pets are not permitted in the resort.

Guestrooms. The four-story resort's 304 guestrooms provide sea or garden views from balconies or patios. Décor is contemporary and includes Malaysian art and accents and foliage plants. Guestrooms also include satellite television, wireless Internet access for a fee, safes, desks, coffee and tea makers and minibars.

Expert Tip. Pandan Waterfall, located 20 kilometers from the resort, is a torrent of rapids cascading over rough terraces of rock outcroppings into a large pool. Swimming is permitted in the pool, and the area also includes a playground, picnic spots, bird watching and hiking trails. The area also is home to a variety of indigenous wildlife.
