    The location of the hotel is very convenient for buses and underground to access all the fun areas in Munich. Buyer beware though, this is a youth hostel and expect it to be crowded with teenagers and young adults who are loud and up all night. I traveled with my family of four young children and they put us on the student floor, which was very noisy with rowdy teens and audible profanity until the wee hours of the morning. The family room for six people consisted of three bunk beds and one small bathroom with shower. The rooms were clean and spartan. No efficiencies. Parking is one the street and will cost you 6 euro for 24 hours. There is a cafeteria on the premises. As well as a disco in the basement. If you want central Munich lodging with a cheap price and don't mind noisy neighbors and prison cell furnishings then this is the place for you.

Location. Haus International is located in the artists' quarter of Munich city centre, Germany, two kilometres from the main train station and three kilometres from the markets and street cafes of Marienplatz.

Hotel Features. This modern red-brick hostel opens into a light modern lobby area with high ceilings. Wireless Internet is available throughout, and there is a safe-deposit box at the 24-hour front desk. There is a nightly disco from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. during high season, and a games room featuring table tennis, video games, billiards, and a football table.

Haus International serves a complimentary buffet breakfast daily. Restaurant International serves dishes from around the globe, and opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served in the bar and coffee shop.

Guestrooms. The 180 air-conditioned guestrooms have modern decor, with light-wood furnishings and tiled floors. Amenities include satellite television, wireless Internet, and private bathrooms.
