    Small, boutique style hotel. There was sometimes only one staff member at the front desk, albeit friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were on the small side - but we found that to be the case for most European hotels. This hotel met our needs - it was close to the Plaza de Espana metro, there was a grocery store within walking distance. The great thing about it was that we had a kitchenette - complete with burners, sink, microwave, and mini fridge. I would highly recommend for a long stay. The comforters we had on our beds were incredibly cozy!! Very dangerous that once you get into bed, you won't want to get up!

Location. The Hotel Suites Viena is located in Madrid, Spain, in the Arguelles business area, 300 metres from Plaza de Espana and its metro station, 700 metres from the shopping of Gran Via, and two kilometres from Retiro Park and Madrid's museums in the historic city centre. Madrid Barajas Airport is 15 kilometres away.

Hotel Features. A modern block of grey stone and glass, the Hotel Suites Viena comprise studio suites with wheelchair access. There are communal laundry and dry- cleaning facilities, and parking is available for a surcharge.

There are two meeting rooms hosting up to 45 delegates at Hotel Suites Viena, with wireless Internet access, and a business centre providing fax and photocopying services.

The nearby Parque de Montana provides an excellent jogging environment, and the National Golf Centre is five kilometres away.

Suites. The 57 suites at Hotel Suites Viena have bathrooms with hydromassage showers, and kitchenettes with refrigerators and minibars. Suites are air conditioned with wooden parquet floors and a decor of greys and whites with modern furniture. All are equipped with satellite television, high-speed Internet access, desks, safes, and direct-dial phones.

Expert Tip. The Cerralbo Museum houses exhibits donated by the Marquis de Cerralbo on his death in 1922. Among the collections are a painting by El Greco, and displays of ancient weaponry and Iberian pottery.
