Accessible by a seven-minute boat ride, the hotel is based on a rocky outcrop and is the only development on the island. The port of Bandor is one kilometre away and Toulon is 20 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Built with balconies overhanging the ocean, the Hotel Delos comprises three properties built in a classically Italian style. The grounds incorporate a private beach, an outdoor pool with a sundeck, and sea views. Other amenities include Internet access in public areas (surcharge) and a concierge on hand to offer sightseeing advice.
The Hotel Delos's seafood restaurant specialises in fish fresh from the harbour, and traditional Provençal cooking. Two terraces offer al fresco dining and sea views. The hotel also houses a bar offering a wide range of cocktails. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning.
The hotel offers conference rooms and small meeting spaces.
The grounds of the Hotel Delos offer three tennis courts. Water sports are available at the private beach, including water skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling.
Guestrooms. The 72 air-conditioned guestrooms are housed in villas or in one of the main hotel buildings. All offer sea views, balconies, or private gardens and are individually decorated in Mediterranean style, with sweeping curtains and antique- style or white wood furniture. Amenities include satellite television, Internet access via TV and telephones.
Expert Tip. Formed by a volcanic eruption in the year 50 BC, Ile de Bendor belongs to Paul Ricard, of the Ricard Pastis fortune. The island measures just one kilometre across.
