See more detailsLocation. The West County Hotel and Leisure Centre is located in historic Ennis, Republic of Ireland, within one kilometre of the town centre, 22 kilometres from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, and 37 kilometres from the cliffs of Moher and the sea.
Hotel Features. The West County Hotel and Leisure Centre is a modern hotel built in yellow stone. Amenities at the hotel include the Kingfisher Aqua and Fitness Centre which features three indoor heated pools, a gym, sauna, spa tub and solarium. There is a beauty salon within the centre that offers therapeutic treatments. Other hotel amenities include free parking and babysitting.
The West County's Pine Room restaurant offers an a la carte menu while the more informal County Grill and Boru's Irish pub include a serviced buffet. The Café West Coffee Docks serves a range of sandwiches, wraps and snacks.
Business services include conference rooms.
There are extensive children's facilities including the Kids Plus programme, hosted by Sammy the Squirrel.

Expert Tip. The meandering River Fergus runs through the middle of Ennis and is a well-known trout and salmon fishery. It's a pleasant place to walk, and also has a sculpture trail.
