    Welcoming smiles, excellent breakfast (fresh maple scones to die for!)perfect location, great recommendation for dinner, and oh so comfortable bed- what more could anyone ask for?? Don and Katherine are great hosts, and the Isiah Jones Homestead should be on everyone's list for a Cape Cod stay.Convenient walking distance to town center as well as Rt 6A for driving anyplace further up on the Cape. Sandwich is a beautiful town, without the usual hustle and bustle of the Mid-Cape, but more than enough to satisfy weekend visitors or weeklong travelers with its convenient location. Sandy Neck Beach is beautiful, but get there early for parking. I would happily go again, and most definately park my suitcase at Don and Katherine's.

Guestrooms. The Isaiah Jones Homestead Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic, seaside village of Sandwich, Mass., less than one mile from Town Neck Beach, antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and galleries. The Hoxie House, said to be oldest house on Cape Cod, is one-half mile away. The Green Briar Nature Center commemorates the author of the Peter Cottontail children's stories two miles away.

Features. Built in 1849, this Victorian-style mansion features a deck overlooking the home's gardens and goldfish pond. Adirondack and rocking chairs are scattered throughout the manicured lawns. Complimentary three-course breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room, featuring cranberry orange and raspberry muffins, granola parfait, baked apple crisp, Spanish omelets and buttermilk pancakes. A refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water and soda is featured, and tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day. Complimentary port and sherry are served in the evenings. The dining room offers a computer station and printer, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the home. The living room showcases a fireplace. A DVD library is offered. Pets are not allowed at the property.
