I had always wanted to stay at The Mission Inn & I had finally got the chance to. The service, staff, bell hop, & room service were all very nice professional & prompt. I would highly recommend a stay at The Mission Inn to any of my family and friends. The staff also knew the background and history of the hotel, which I thought was excellent. Will be staying there again in the future! Enjoy!!!

I stayed here last week. The hotel is undergoing renovation. Carpet is being replaced by the restaurant area and throughout the hotel. In addition, the City of Riverside is renovating the shopping area by the hotel. I was on the 2nd floor and the construction started at 7 am. This hotel is normally an incredible oasis. I've stayed here many times over the years. However, if you are booking, please call the hotel and ask them about construction status. Also, request a room away from the shops to avoid the noise.

Expert Tip. Built in 1876 by Christopher Columbus Miller and sold to his son Frank Miller in 1880, Mission Inn Hotel & Spa began as a two-story 12-room adobe boarding house. Through additions and renovations, the hotel was transformed into its current collection of contrasting and complementing elements: arcades and orange gardens, turrets and domes, flying buttresses and spiraling staircases, and catacombs and carillon towers.
