The inn is one mile from the Drake House Museum, a 1746 historic farmhouse where George Washington once consulted with his troops. Comedies, dramas and musicals are presented at Plays in the Park, located six miles from the inn. The Great Swamps National Wildlife Refuge is less than nine miles away.
This Georgian-style bed and breakfast features a grand foyer that extends three stories to a stained-glass window, a music room with an organ, and an eclectic library with books and magazines. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room or on the front porch. A computer station with high-speed Internet access and a printer is provided in the music room. Meeting rooms and fax and photocopy services are available. The inn's living room contains a television and DVD player. Pets are not allowed.

The Third Mate's Quarters room features antique gold chairs. Vintage oak furniture, a Franklin stove, ship models and seashells decorate the Captain's Study room.
