See more detailsLocation. Nestled in the center of the White Mountains in North Woodstock, N.H., this inn is near both the Loon Mountain and Cannon Mountain Ski Areas. Nordic skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing are available at or near the ski resorts. Downtown-style shopping is right outside the front door on Main Street, with shops offering jewelry, candles, outdoor equipment and gifts. Cascades Park, directly across the street from the inn, is set on the Pemigewasset River, and Echo Lake State Park, eight miles away, offers swimming for a fee.
Hotel Features. Made up of an inn, four guest houses, a brewery, and two restaurants, Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery retains Lincoln's original train depot and has incorporated it into its main building. The Woodstock Station Restaurant offers informal dining, while the Clement Room Grille features local seafood, fresh seasonal produce, and regional meat and wild game selections complemented by a fine wine list. Live entertainment is featured at the on-site brew pub. Guests have full access to the health club at Alpine Village Resort, which has an indoor pool, exercise room, spa tub, and fitness center.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery are located in one of four buildings, with all rooms offering cable television, in-room telephones and wireless Internet access. Decor includes floral, English country, and contemporary. Guestrooms have private bathrooms with bathrobes provided.
Expert Tip. The Pemigewasset River, running directly along the inn, offers four to eight-mile medium paddling tours with rapids most suitable for beginners. Various local companies rent kayaks and offer shuttle service.
