Great hotel for business travel but I would avoid this as a destination if you are looking for relaxation or peace and quiet. The first night of our stay was fantastic, with great service on the veranda and a terrific view (once we were able to get away from the multiple business meetings happening around us at very high volumes). As this hotel overlooks the marina, we were unable to be in our room relaxing from 9am on, due to someone sandblasting their boat down below. Sort of made the great view of the room useless. Thinking the spa might be a good option, I headed down find a desserted front desk and after requesting a tour of the facilities was shuffled through by a hyperactive and very loud young woman. I could not wait to get out of there and away from the noise. 3rd option to relax was the pool. Thrilled to find that they were trimming the trees at the pool with a noisy device, I made three attempts to ask the hotel to have them do this at a later time. No luck. We checked out and went to loews which I would recommend over this ritz to anyone. It was unfortunate to schedule a vacation for so much money and then have to leave and lose that money, but it was better than losing my mind. Now I can return to work feely truly restored. Just don't think you will find that at the Ritz..unless you happen to be deaf.
