    The place is nice, the location is perfect. The staff is below average. Some are friendly others are extremely rude.

    This was our second stay at this gem of a place. Wonderful location within walking distance of all major sites. Staff was excellent. They provided me an umbrella as I was exiting the hotel for a day of sightseeing in an unexpected rainstorm. Room was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. All our requests were immediately attended to. We left at 4:30 am for an early flight back to the states - the front desk attendant was the only one on duty but he graciously helped with our bags, called us a taxi and even made us cappucino while we waited for the taxi - complete with breakfast cakes wrapped for our trip! Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Florence.
