Sahara Regency

The Sahara Regency Hotel is housed in a four-storey, sand-coloured modern building located in the commercial centre of Dakhla, 100 metres from the beach and 200 metres from the airport. The hotel's 82 guestrooms have balconies or terraces with views of the sea and/or gardens and feature marble floors, white walls and patterned rugs, coordinated fabrics and wood furnishings including coffee table and chairs,. The hotel can organise a range of excursions on request, from fishing trips and water sports at the hotel's private beach, 25 kilometres away, to trekking through the desert in a 4x4. A range of souvenirs are available at the onsite gift shop. Business events and social functions can be accommodated in the ballroom. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can exchange currency, store valuables in the safety-deposit box, provide room service (limited hours). Complimentary secure parking facilities are available on site. Dakhla's beach, 100 metres from the hotel, offers a variety of water sports, including windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba-diving. The harbour is five kilometres away, and a solitary Spanish lighthouse, ten kilometres away, offers panoramic views of the area. The Dakhla Attitude surfing centre is 30 kilometres away. Dakhla Airport is 200 metres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of five minutes.
