RH Rochester Concept

The room was only 10x10 but clean and modern. Small fridge and safe. TV was 9" but got many stations. No drawers to put clothes away but areas for carry on bags. 18" of hanging space.The street was somewhat dark at night but 1/2 block to walking street Lavalle St.and 1 block from Florida St. Came with 1/2 pension which meant breakfast of bread,fruit,ham,cheese and scrambled eggs. Lunch was 1 block over at its sister hotel and allowed 2 chooses.Lunch cost 10 pesos for drink and service fee but we were served verses breakfast buffet.

The pictures, the logo of Rochester Concept looks cute right? Well i fall into the same mistake. This used to be a 1 star hotel in a very noisy, crowded, dirty neighborhood. With the few small update, the owners tried to create the illusion " a new trendy hotel with competitive rates". ( one block away from their another hotel called Classic) .. Rooms are small, bed is uncomfortable, room/bathroom doors - elevator are in horrible condition, TV channels are fuzzy, there is no safe to luck your belongings in the room, the breakfast is poor and low quality, it faces to very noisy street with a lot of traffic, staff barely speaks English and they are not sophisticated or wired to cater to Foreign Tourists - so no " Concierge Service" , there is no decent restaurant to save your life around... On top of all of these, a new building is being built in front of the hotel, which creates lots of noise /traffic jam and dust.. This hotel serves to Argentineans visiting from other cities who are looking for a cheap option in a commercial neighborhood. I realized, after my stay, this neighborhood & hotel is not an ideal place for Tourists. So look for other options.. Please!....
