    We stayed at the Country Inns & Suites because of its proximity to the Mid America Center. The location was perfect for this reason. However, there were not a lot of restaurants, etc. around the hotel other than the casino and one or two other places. There is a walkway that connects the hotel to the MAC, but it was not open for the concert we went to. That would've been a very convenient way to avoid the cold, but we had to walk outside instead. The room was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy though.

    Courteous front desk. Breakfast was good....trouble with the waffle machine by some of the patrons. Loved the cookies in the evening...!!!
