    The hilton phuket Arcadia Resortwas magnificent, as it is tucked away from the hustle and busy areas, yet still close enough to enjoy Phuket. Near Karon beach, and just south of Patong beach it is ideal for a great wonderful relaxing stay. The Rooms are plush and hardwood floors and they all have a view. We originally wanted a view of the ocean, but the garden view was even lovlier than we could imagine. three or four pools were always in use and the breakfast was the best, as we did not want to leave. The juice was fresh squeezed and they use all of the fruit, core and all. It was great. The rain-type shower and magnificent bathroom was the best. Over-sized pillows (4) on the king bed mad it a delight sleeping at night. The balcony was set up perfect and the good news is, that the sun shined every day. A little disappointed with the beach, as it is not Hotel property but none-the-less, just across the street and very un-crowded. My wife had the Massage done and said it was the best feeling ever. Highly recommend it and we will be going back to stay there. Thank you Hotels.com

    Loved the pools which were placed in areas to resemble lagoons. Beach wasn't too far. Restaurant and deli were good. Bed was very comfortable, and bathrooms were up-to-date and modern. Complaints: There's no mention on the website of how to get to the hotel from the airport, nor did it mention there's a Hilton customer center at the airport to arrange for transportation which is about $40-$50 to the hotel (unless you get a shred ride to split the cost). Also, internet access was not complimentary and was about $22 per day.

The Hilton Phuket Arcadia is a 12-storey spa resort set in 75 acres of lush tropical gardens next to Karon Beach, eight kilometres from the Siam Elephant Safari Camp. The 676 guestrooms all extend to balconies with mountain or sea views and have polished hardwood floors and traditional Thai-style decor with a modern twist. All are equipped with high-speed Internet connections, satellite television with pay movies, minibars, and bathrooms with handheld showers, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.

Hidden among the frangipani and coconut trees and reminiscent of a Thai village, the resort's 1,500 square- metre spa complex comprises 15 villas, a beauty salon and an outdoor restaurant. A range of indulgent, revitalising and relaxing Asian and Western treatments are on offer, including equilibrium therapy, which combines a herbal pack, hot oil and pressure-point massage to increase blood circulation. The resort boasts three large freeform outdoor pools featuring waterfalls, slides for children, and regular games and activities for the whole family. Health-conscious guests can work up a sweat in the gym, practise their serves on the three tennis courts and two squash courts, or join a wellness class. Younger guests will be kept busy by DVDs, PlayStations, board games and supervised activities, including arts and crafts and outdoor games, at the Kidz Paradise Club. Diners can enjoy local specialities and cultural shows in the Thai Thai restaurant and international buffets in the Sails restaurant and Boun Appetito. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide around-the clock room service, exchange currency, store valuables in the safe-deposit box and advise on local sights and attractions. Tram and buggy services will help guests navigate the 75-acre resort, while those looking for a family day out can meet the elephants at the Siam Safari Camp, eight kilometres away.
