    This is not really a hotel, but a rental apartment, so if you want daily maid service, this is not the place. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge. Not many people out at night on this side of the river. For the price, pretty good access to the main part of town, bus and street car, and close to a pretty good size mall and market. Overall, pretty good value.

    Hotel room was beautiful and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, close enough to walk to everything but far enough to get peace and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location. The Artesse Hotel in Prague in the Czech Republic is located in Prague's picturesque Mala Strana area, on the left bank of the Vltava River, 300 metres from the Charles Bridge. Guests can walk to the Old Town and the Prague Castle and St. Wenceslas Square.

Hotel Features. The recently-renovated hotel dates from 1901 and retains its original facade, stucco decorations, stained-glass windows, forged railings and woodcarvings around the doorways. Breakfast can be delivered directly to the guestroom via room service. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. There are several dining options within the surrounding area.

Guestrooms. The 13 guestrooms feature coordinated fabrics with custom-designed wooden furniture. Each of five floors of the Artesse Hotel is decorated in a different style. All guestrooms include complimentary wireless Internet access and satellite television. Equipped kitchenettes include refrigerators, microwaves and coffee and tea facilities.

Expert Tip. The Petrínská rozhledna (Petrín lookout tower) is located in the Artesse Hotel's neighborhood, Mala Strana. This 60 metre tower resembles Paris' Eiffel Tower, but is only much shorter. On a clear day, it affords good views of Prague. It is open during the weekends only.
