    For our first visit to Baden-Baden, the Steigenberger Europischer Hof was perfect. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was top-notch. The location was perfect, since we walked everywhere instead of using our car. Parking was easily accessible, right across the street. The only disappointment was that the spa downstairs was not open in the late hours when it would have been most convenient for us after a long day of touring other places in town all day and evening. I definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and luxurious Baden-Baden experience.

The Steignberger Europäischer Hof hotel Belle Epoque- style building in the Baden-Alsace golf area, located opposite the spa centre, theatre, and the city's casino. The hotel's 128 guestrooms have contemporary decor with warm tone colour schemes, patterned bed fabrics and matching curtains. Wood furnishings include writing desks, soft-bedside lamps and brass, glass-topped coffee tables. Suites have separate sitting areas. All rooms include armchairs, satellite television with pay movie channels, wireless internet connectivity, and minibars.

The hotel's main restaurant, Restaurant de l'Europe, serves regional and international cuisine and is set in traditional decor with chandeliers and panelled walls. Guests can also get light snacks at the Horse Bar and Lounge, which has a nightclub-style and serves drinks. Afternoon tea is also available with cakes and a selection of hot beverages at the Garden Café, where guests can sit with pleasant views of the garden. Guests have complimentary access to the hotel's leisure centre, which comprises indoor and outdoor lagoon-style pools, saunas, steam bath and solarium. A range of beauty and massage treatments are also available. In the evenings, guests can enjoy drinks and cocktails in the hotel's bar and listen to live music, whilst in the afternoon tea with cakes and a selection of hot beverages are available at the Garden Café. The 24-hour front desk has multilingual staff that can assist guests with arranging rounds at the local golf courses and also with transport bookings, recommendations for places to visit for day- trips. Just opposite the hotel is the spa garden and its casino, whilst the Burda Museum is located 200 metres from the hotel and the well-known baths at Friedrichsbad are 800 metres from the hotel. For day-trips, the city of Strasbourg is 30 kilometres from the hotel and the Europark theme park is 40 kilometres away. Baden-Baden airport is 16 kilometres (10 miles) from the hotel.
