    The hotel is next to a lake. Our room is facing the lake, and it has very beautiful view. However, Not many rooms are facing the lake. If you have a car, it is a nice place to stay. Otherwise, it is pretty painful to go there.

    The staff was impersonal and unresponsive. Dining room was nice, food only okay. The outdoor terraces looked out on covered boats, not particularly nice. Terraces were not always kept ready for guest use. I found the hotel overpriced. Many rooms face into an interior parking lot. Nothing special at this hotel. Neighborhood is also not particularly attractive. The management seems to be in the business of selling rooms and food, not in the business of making guests feel welcomed and happy.

The Golden Tulip Loosdrecht is a modern white hotel set on the banks of the picturesque Loosdrecht Lakes, 30 kilometres from central Amsterdam. The 67 guestrooms have a light modern decor with patterned fabrics and functional furnishings. Rooms open out on to balconies, some with views of the lakes and include cable television, direct-dial phones with voicemail, safes, and dial-up Internet connections. Bathrooms are complete with shower/tub combos, hair dryers, makeup mirrors and bathrobes.

Guests can enjoy recreational activities at the hotel's private marina, including boat rides and the hiring of motorboats, rowboats, canoes and pedal boats. The hotel also has bicycles to rent. After a day on the water, guests can relax with drinks on the lakeside terrace or in the BRANCHE Bar & Lounge. Business facilities include conference rooms with audio-visual equipment, banquet services and complimentary Internet. For those arriving by car there is free parking on site. Guests will find lake cruise boats one kilometre away and Sypesteyn Castle is two kilometres away. For those travelling by train, the nearest station is Hilversum, 10 kilometres away. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel.
