Sofitel Agadir

The Sofitel Agadir is a large resort hotel with architecture typical of North Africa, resembling a Kasbah, stood imposingly over the golden sands of the Agadir beachfront. There are 273 guestrooms in total, all fitted with air-conditioning and characterised by modern decor with dark wooden furniture and colourful bedspreads. Rooms benefit from the luxury of bathrobes and slippers, feature minibars and cable television, and are equipped with Internet connections.

Diners have the choice of two restaurants, as well as the option of eating at Les Grill des Dunes, serving a wide range of salads, grilled dishes and pizzas in an outdoor area between the pool, lawn and beach. In addition there is 24-hour room service for in-room refreshments. A supervised kids club (ages 4-12) takes place in a Bedouin tent on the private beach, and babysitting is available on request. Spa services include a sauna, hammam and toning massages. Guests can work out on the fitness equipment, play tennis, and swim in the large pool. There is a hairdressers as well as a gift shop and newspaper shop. A seasonal open-air disco invites guests to dance the night away. Visitors may enjoy the lively ambience of the local market 2 kilometres from the hotel, golf-lover can find courses around 6 kilometres away, while more adventurous guests can experience camel trekking 7 kilometres away. The hotel is approximately 26 kilometres or a half-hour drive from Agadir Al Massira Airport.
