See more detailsLocation. This bed and breakfast is located on the historic square of Mount Joy, Pa., in the center of town on Main Street. Surrounded by peaceful Lancaster County farmlands, the inn is situated near Pennsylvania Amish Country. The city of Hershey, with the chocolate-themed amusement park, tours, and trolley rides, is approximately a 15-mile drive. Within easy walking distance along Main Street are restaurants, pubs and shopping.
Features. The Olde Square Inn is a historic brick home renovated into a bed and breakfast. The house is enhanced by lush gardens and landscaping around the exterior, and features an outdoor seasonal pool and brick patio. Business services and free parking are available. A complimentary full breakfast, including Dutch Country favorites such as baked oatmeal, farmer's hash and pineapple brunch casserole, is served each morning. Hot and cold beverages are available at an afternoon tea. The innkeepers allow small pets for a fee.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at The Olde Square Inn are individually decorated with themes including Victorian and other styles. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, cable televisions with VCRs, and coffeemakers. Rooms have private bathrooms and fireplaces. Some have en-suite bathrooms and/or jetted spa tubs.
Expert Tip. Guests looking for a dining adventure can dine 40 feet underground in Bube's Brewery, Lancaster County's most unique restaurant and microbrewery. The restaurant is just one half-mile away on Market Street.
