    The hotel is in a great location. We stayed the last weekend and had a great experience. This time around it was not as great. We were put in room 72. Great place for say a couple looking to be away from others but horrible for a 71 year old woman. After getting off the elevator on the second floor you had to climb up 4 levels of stairs to get to this room. It is located above the elevator so you hear it everytime it moves. Bottom line... Great hotel but I highly recommend staying away from that room.

Location. The Hotel Ariele in Florence, Italy, is an 18th-century palazzo located beside the River Arno in a residential quarter of the city. Piazza di Santa Croce and Medici Palace are within one kilometre. Santa Maria Novella railway station is 800 metres from the hotel and Florence Vesoucci Airport (FLR) is five kilometres away.

Hotel Features. Set in a restored palace, the Hotel Ariele is decorated with traditional Florentine furnishings and has a garden full of flowers. The hotel offers complimentary bicycle hire. Multilingual concierge staff can offer information on local attractions and make restaurant reservations.

Cocktails and coffees are available in the hotel bar. A complimentary breakfast is served in the breakfast room.
