Description
See more detailsSet back from the street opposite the Lazienki Park, the Hyatt Regency Warsaw hotel is located amid embassies and government buildings, less than five kilometres from the Old Town. The 250 guestrooms, all of which are decorated with a cream, taupe and beige colour scheme, feature original paintings and photos by local contemporary artists, and have views of the surrounding embassies or overlook the glass-roofed lobby. All are equipped with Internet connections (surcharge), satellite TV, telephones with voicemail, and minibars. Marble bathrooms include separate tubs and showers, bathrobes, scales, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
The Hyatt's Club Oasis fitness centre boasts Warsaw's largest swimming pool, alongside steam rooms, a Finnish sauna and jetted spas. Trainers are on hand to help guests get the most out of a workout, and spa treatments, massage and hairdressing services are also available. The hotel's Venti-Tre restaurant has an open kitchen serving fine Italian food for lunch and dinner. In summer, street-facing windows are opened and chairs are moved out to a terrace. Paved in rust and grey slate and housed in a glass-roofed atrium, the lobby bar serves food from the hotel restaurant amid modern, locally made sculptures. A pianist provides live music in the evenings. The Q Club, the hotel's cellar nightclub, has nightly DJs or live bands, and serves sushi and European dishes. Across Belwederska from the Hyatt, Lazienki Park was once the royal hunting ground. Thoroughly renovated in recent years to its full historic splendour, the showpiece of the huge Lazienki is the Palace Upon the water. Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is ten kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
