    the showers need updating not enough creamer for coffee. the refrigerators are a nice touch in the rooms but you cant open the doors get stuck on floor. need ashtrays outside. baseboards are dirty and walls need new paint or cleaned. need more lighting outside there were lights outside of rooms but were not on. the front desk staff are not welcoming at all. no smile no greeting at all very dry.

The Duarte (Calif.) Days Inn on Interstate 210 five miles east of Pasadena is just two miles down the road from Santa Anita Race Track, the Raging Water Park and just 10 miles from the Rose Bowl and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Families, especially those with kids, are less than 35 miles-and choruses of "Are we there yet?"-from Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park and Disneyland. Air travelers are 35 miles from Los Angeles International Airport.
