    This hotel was clean and pleasant. Because of airline problems my trip was delayed by one day and my stay in Venice was cut short by a night. Because I was unable to get a refund (due to hotels.com booking) they upgraded my room to a nicer one with vaulted ceilings overlooking the canal. I don't have anything specifically fantastic to say about it, but I certainly have no complaints about cleanliness or helpfulness of the staff. We had a car and were able to easily find the city (about a 20 minute drive), but without one it may be difficult.

Location. The Riviera Dei Dogi offers lodging in a renovated 16th-century structure that overlooks the Brenta Riviera Canal in Mira, Italy. This hotel is located two kilometres from the Mira train station and 15 kilometres from Venice.

Hotel Features. This property was the first hotel located on the Riviera del Brenta, but was initially planned as a weekend retreat for the Contarini aristocratic family. Internet access is available for a fee. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and reception personnel offer tour assistance, arrange dry-cleaning services and store valuables in the safe-deposit box. Laundry facilities are located on site. Parking is complimentary.

Guestrooms. The Riviera Dei Dogi features 43 guestrooms equipped with direct-dial telephones and televisions. Room décor includes parquet or hardwood floors, warm-colored fabrics, Oriental rugs and wood-beamed ceilings. Select rooms offer eclectic wood furnishings and beds accented with intricately carved headboards and footboards. Private bathrooms contain showers.
