    Hotel is not centrally located as advertised. Construction is still going on, but because we did not face the front of the hotel it did not bother us..My main complaint is the choice of channels on the television - there is nothing in english to watch, except THE NEWS...the news and the news.. I don't speak French, Portugese or German, nor do I stay in and watch TV all day, but when I come home after a long day of touring - I would like to relax and watch a movie or ANYTHING in English,except the NEWS...

    My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our 5-night stay at Principe over Christmas. Our room and bathroom were simple, comfortable and clean. Only one block from the Metro station (very easy to navigate) and the Corte Ingles department store (including cinema and supermarket - awesome). The street construction is still underway in front of the hotel -- we didn't have any noise problems, but they only worked 2 of the 5 days we were there.

The Hotel Príncipe Lisboa is a modern hotel set in the city centre, 100 metres from the park and museum at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Many of the city's most famous landmarks are within easy reach of the hotel, with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Edward VII Park within 300 metres. The Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and Coches Museum all five kilometres away. The hotel is within an easy walking distance of two metro stations, allowing guests easy access to all parts of the city. Lisbon (Portela) International Airport is six kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
