    We loved our stay at Hounds Tooth Inn!! The room was wonderful and so was the breakfasts!! Both innkeepers were super sweet & even upgraded us because there were rooms still available. We loved our spa tub & fireplace...especially in crisp November. The evening wine bar was also a delightful bonus. It was also nice to have a great location to grocery stores and restaurants. It gave us a wide variety of choices both taste & price-wise. But it still felt private, quaint, peaceful and off the beaten path. We were able to visit both Bass Lake & Yosemite because the Inn was so close to both. It was truly a relaxing & refreshing getaway!

Location. The Hounds Tooth Inn Bed and Breakfast is located on Highway 41 three miles from the tourist community of Oakhurst, Calif. Bass Lake and the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park are about five miles from the property. The Madera Wine Trail, located in rural Madera County, offers a growing number of boutiques and premium wineries, most of which are within three miles of the inn. Other activities available in this area include cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sleigh rides, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing and backpacking.

Hotel Features. Situated on 3.5 acres, the Hounds Tooth Inn is a cottage-style bed and breakfast replete with Victorian flair. Guests enjoy views of the Sierras, bustling seasonal creeks, and a private garden. Breakfast consists of a variety of breads, cereals, fruit dish, sweet cake, juice, coffee and teas. Complimentary afternoon wine, in addition to tea and coffee, is also served.

Guestrooms. The Hounds Tooth Inn offers 12 private guestrooms with fireplaces and/or jetted tubs. Each room is individually decorated, and offers a private bathroom, cable television, VCR, and phone service.
