    Older motel but nice. Room was small probably due to the age of the motel. Good self serve breakfast.

    My son and I went there for two days of road biking. This is one of the few inns that were happy to store or bikes inside for us. Breakfast, while not the hearty eggs, pancakes and french toast, was quite pleasant, serving delicious baked goods, good coffee and a nice setting. The air conditioned rooms were a plus and what was nicest about them, when we wanted to get in a Sunday morning ride, there was no issue that we were a half hour late for check out. The owner, Nancy, realy wanted us to take her favorite ride, which was great. I would stay there again.

Location. The Fullerton Inn is located on the village green in the historic town of Chester, Vt., just off Route 11. Victorian and Colonial architecture sets this picturesque town apart. The inn is surrounded by interesting shops, galleries and bookstores. This quaint southern Vermont village is within 22 miles of 13 state forests.

Features. This Victorian-style inn, built in 1922, offers a restaurant which serves dinner Monday through Saturday evenings, featuring Chicken Bradford, baked chicken breast stuffed with broccoli, cheddar and bacon, served with a sauce poulet. The Bradford Tavern features a full bar with local brews and fine wines, a pub or full menu, a fireplace and live music most weekends. Complimentary continental breakfasts are offered each morning in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the patio and gardens. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. The lobby offers a stone fireplace. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Guestrooms. All guestrooms and suites feature private bathrooms and a unique décor, creating an atmosphere of ease and comfort. All rooms offer country-style quilts and lace window treatments. Select rooms offer access to the first- and second-floor porches.

Expert Tip. The Okemo Mountain Resort is a four-season resort located approximately 11 miles from the inn. The resort offers two championship golf courses, skiing, snowboarding, a Nordic Ski Center, ice-skating facility and snow-tubing park.
