Description
See more detailsThe BayView Terrace Inn, located in the Victorian Association of BayView, Petoskey, Mich., is on a bluff across from the shores of Little Traverse Bay. This bed and breakfast is within 200 yards of Lake Michigan. The inn complies with the Victorian Association's rules, including quiet hours and smoke-free facilities.
Still retaining the original transoms and glass windows, this 1911 inn is furnished with antiques, vintage chandeliers and a wood-burning fireplace in the lobby. The nearly century-old building has developed character over the years, including some slating floors, and still has no elevators.
Complimentary breakfasts are served each morning, and complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the day. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the residence, and a television is located in the lower-level meeting room. The inn offers private beach access, and horse-drawn sleigh rides are available in the winter.
This 3-story inn offers 37 guestrooms, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Cottage rooms intentionally exclude televisions and telephones in order to provide a quiet atmosphere. All cottage rooms provide forest views or views of Little Traverse Bay. Deluxe rooms, including Hemingway's Room and the Seascape Lovers Room, offer flat-screen televisions with cable channels and full bathrooms with soaking tubs and showers.
This 3-story historic property does not offer elevators.
This is a smoke-free property.
Quiet hours are observed as per Victorian Association of BayView rules.
