See more detailsLocation. Settled on the banks of ancient fishing ponds, the Mauna Lani Terrace Condominiums are located in Kamuela, Hawaii. Located on the western coast of the Big Island, the resort enjoys a central location on this island of contrasting geology.
Features. Set amid tropical gardens with the beach just steps away, the condominium resort features a large outdoor pool and sundeck, a children's pool and a jetted tub. Guests enjoy access to many of the facilities of the Mauna Lani Resort including two 18-hole golf courses, a tennis club and a beach club for a fee. There is a spa offering a myriad of body treatments, facials and massage. A fitness center is located on site, as is a sauna. Dry cleaning, concierge and business services are offered, and coffee is available in the lobby. The Gallery Restaurant offers American regional cuisine with a Mediterranean twist in an alfresco environment. Knickers Bar is a pleasant spot for cocktails and pupus, and the Beach Club offers burgers, salads, sandwiches and wraps with seating overlooking the beach. A picnic area with barbeque grills is located on the property.
Guestrooms. Each of the one- and two- bedroom condos feature unique décor and furnishing with teak accents and lanais with views of the ocean, lagoon or garden. Kitchens and laundry machines add convenience, and entertainment amenities include CD stereos, VCRs and cable television. Master bathrooms have large soaking tubs, double sinks and marble countertops. Child care is available in room for a fee.
Expert Tip. Visitors can check out one of Hawaii's most scenic waterfalls, Akaka Falls, via a paved path that loops through a rainforest, and offers fantastic views of the 442-foot falls.
