Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn

Location. Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, the Blue Mt. Mist Country Inn is set on a section of family-owned farmland in Sevierville, Tenn. Four miles from Pigeon Forge and a twenty-five minute drive from Gatlinburg, this bed and breakfast is less than four miles from great family attractions such as Dollywood and the Smoky Mountain River Run. The Gatlinburg Golf Course is also a short ten-minute drive.

Hotel Features. This beautiful Victorian-style farmhouse offers views of valleys, rolling hills, and mountains. Guests are served a homemade Southern breakfast in the lace-filled dining room, which looks out over the valleys and layered hills. Breakfast starts with a fresh-fruit cup topped with Norman's own special recipe, followed by traditional mountain-high servings of eggs, biscuits with sawmill gravy, sausage, bacon and grits, or other delicious possibilities.

Guestrooms. Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn offers non-smoking guest rooms and cottages. The five romantic cottages are each named after local wildflowers, and many of the guestrooms are named after a historic or geographic part of the Smoky Mountains. Set in the woods on the Inn's 60-acre property, the cottages offer the utmost in privacy, while the guestrooms are located in the main house. All accommodations have high-speed Internet access and private bathrooms.

Expert Tip. A twenty-minute drive from the Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn will bring guests to the trailhead to Ramsey Cascades, a 90-foot waterfall accessible through a short hike into the Smoky Mountains.
