The Arrowhead Ski Resort is six miles away and Vail Village is 15 miles from the property. Airport transportation is provided for a fee and private helicopter service is available.
Hotel Features. Mirador presents an extensive wine list and classic continental cuisine, including Applewood Smoked Rack of Lamb and Blue Crab Cake. The casual Chapparal features vegetarian dishes, prime aged beef and seafood served in a period "Colorado Territorial" setting. The Timber Hearth Grill boasts pub-style fare with international and classic Irish cuisines, while the Grouse-on-the-Green provides a selection of microbrews and Irish fare in the short course clubhouse. The Spa at Cordillera features pampering treatments including Chai tea masks, hot stone massages and caviar facials. An adjacent fitness center boasts indoor and outdoor spa tubs, free weights and cardiovascular equipment. Personal trainers and aerobics classes are available. Warm month activities include four golf courses, asphalt tennis courses and 17 maintained hiking trails. Guests have privileges at the Mountain Club at the base of Beaver Creek. Additional amenities include a free-form outdoor pool and an indoor pool with fireplace.
Guestrooms. The 56 guestrooms and suites boast knotted-pine furnishings, upholstered armchairs, premium bedding and décor in hues of cream, pale brown and sage green. Most rooms include fireplaces and balconies or patios framing mountain views. Tumbled stone and glass bathrooms feature bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The property's three 18-hole golf courses are poised at 7,200 feet and above and include the Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Summit Course, Hale Irwin Mountain Course and the Tom Fazio Valley Course. The Dave Pelz Short Course, a 10-hole executive par 3 course, was designed to assist players with improving their short games.
