    For a 5 star Hotel this must be a mistake. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely small, the location was not so good. The room was clean but not that confortable, hard mattress in the bed,could not sleep well. Do not recommend this hotel as a 5 star HOtel

Location. The Melia Athens is located in Athens, Greece, 300 metres from the National Archaeological Museum and 50 metres from Omonia Metro station.

Hotel Features. Occupying an impressive contemporary building, the hotel boasts a modern marble-floored lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the Acropolis.

The Melia Athens' Captain's Bar and Restaurant offers poolside dining, where guests can enjoy ice creams, snacks and drinks with Acropolis views. At night the restaurant is lit by candles. The all-day Café Mondo serves international cuisine, coffees and snacks. Modern Mediterranean cuisine and international favourites are on offer at Vivendo restaurant during the winter months. The Piano Bar serves vintage champagne, cocktails and cigars from a trolley. Room service is available 24 hours.

A business centre and complimentary wireless Internet access are available at the hotel.

The Melia Athens' health club has a gym, steam room, sauna and massage. On the rooftop, there is a 20-metre swimming pool and jetted tub (open May through mid-October, weather permitting), offering panoramic views over the city and Acropolis.
