    My stay at the Woodfin was a great experience. The rooms were clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable. I also loved the location, it's within walking distance of a shopping center and several restaurants.And San Francisco is less than 15 minutes away.

Location. The Woodfin Hotel Emeryville enjoys a convenient East Bay location with easy access to freeways and attractions of the San Francisco Bay Area. Bay Street Emeryville is less than one-half mile down the street, and features a movie theater and plenty of shopping and dining venues.

Hotel Features. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a spa tub and a fitness center. Guests can utilize the complimentary DVD/video library, and there is conference space and a business center offering a computer with high-speed Internet access. Snacks and various California wines can be purchased at a small pantry on site, and the Emery Grille offers cross-cultural epicurean dining. Spa services are available, and the multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk administer a variety of guest services.

Guestrooms. With the exception of those on the 12th floor, all guest suites feature balconies. Amenities include DVD players, VCRs, cable television and high-speed Internet access for a fee.

Expert Tip. Some of the more popular features and attractions include the Marin Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman's Wharf, Grizzly Peak, North Beach, Haight-Ashbury and the University of California at Berkeley.
