    The location is perfect for me as my parents are in a convelescent home up the street, but it's not for people that want entertainment close by. It's for those of us who want some luxury but want to be in 'old Hawaii', not surrounded by chain restuarants and shopping. The harbor is right next store and has boating, kayaking, scuba diving etc. The Blue Crystal bar at the hotel is amazing and attracts Mana Rays in the ocean for you to watch with a drink in hand. I should know...I've stayed there 10 times since 2005! Love the place.

Location. The Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa is poised on an ancient lava flow at the southern entrance to Keauhou Bay on the Big Island. Once the playground of Hawaiian royalty, Keauhou now beckons all travelers in search of unique Hawaiian vacations.
