    We stayed only 1 night (Oct 16, 2009) in a 1-bedroom suite. There were 3 adults and 3 kids (6; 8 & 11) in our group. The access to an inside heated pool and jacuzzi were big hits w/ the kids, as well as the Pizza restaurant across the street (frequented by locals). The hotel was very clean and well kept and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The unit was a bit small, but cozy and we enjoyed having a fire place and a balcony w/ a mountain view. There was a very narrow child bed, but our 11-year old didn't mind. Also, having 2 access doors to the only bathroom took a little getting used to, but we managed. The hotel has a long c-shaped atrium w/ multi-levels, which would make it hard to move around for someone in a wheelchair. We also noticed that the exit from many of the units on the bottom floors didn't have handrails, even though they were approx. 16-18 inches above ground. Overall, we felt we got a good value for our money and would definitively consider staying there again at our next visit to Avon!
