    The hotel looks fabulous. The staff tried to give me directions by showing me a street view type picture that didn't even have the building I was staying in in the picture and was orientated from the wrong direction very confusion until I finally got a map. I spent 20 minutes trying to find the ice machine, but that's another story. The toilet was broken. The pull chain inside the tank had come unattached and had been swallowed down the tank drain. It was very annoying listening to the water run constantly and not being able to flush. I finally fixed it so, it shouldn't be a problem for the next guest. More maintenance/Quality Control needed. The money for the room was taken from my bank account before the cutoff date for cancellation then they put a hold on additional $60 for expenses such as a dining tab etc. Access to Hi-speed internet was located in a jack on the underneath part of the phone which I couldn't find until the next morning when I asked about it. Then I was informed that I needed my own ethernet cable to use it. I don't normally carry one in my laptop bag, who does? They gave me one to use after I agreed to a $10 deposit in addition to the $60 they had already frozen on my account. It must have been 25' long. I'm pretty sure they have never heard of wireless. Other than that it was ok.

    My friend and I loved the place. It's very secluded and quiet - not much to do but we didn't want to do much so it was perfect. The food was excellent and the service was good. Would absolutely go back.

Location. The Resort & Club at Little Harbor in Ruskin, Fla., is located on the south shore of Tampa Bay. This island resort is set on 124 acres surrounded by the tranquil waters of the resort's marinas, harbors and the bay. The Golf Club at Cypress Creek offers 36 holes of championship golf eight miles away.

Features. This resort and residential village offer a harmonious blend of Anglo-Caribbean architecture and tropical landscaping. Overlooking the beach, the Mangroves Restaurant features Caribbean cuisine. Sunsets Grille & Lounge offers light meals, televisions showing sporting events and views of Tampa Bay. The patio of the lounge features live entertainment. A beachside tiki bar offers cocktails and live entertainment. Meeting rooms provide space for small groups or up to 200 guests for special events. Catering services are available. The resort offers three deep-water marinas with a total of 330 boat slips, including a fuel dock, a bait and tackle store, boat ramp launch and boat trailer parking. A 250-foot fishing pier is on the premises. Fishing charters are available for a fee. The resort features a secluded, one-half mile, white-sand beach with complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas. A harbor-side pool with a spa tub and a bayside pool offer lounge chairs, tables shaded with umbrellas and complimentary towels. Three night-lit tennis courts with gallery seating and tennis pros are available. A shuffleboard court, horseshoe field, fitness centre, beach volleyball, a basketball court and a playground are also on site. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. Accommodations at The Resort & Club at Little Harbor feature private balconies or patios with views of Tampa Bay, the marina or the calm waters of the mangrove preserves.
