Inglaterra Hotel

Originally opened in 1857, the Hotel Inglaterra is an English-style hotel situated opposite the town hall in the centre of the historic Spanish city of Seville. The 94 guestrooms are decorated with traditional English wallpapers and fabrics and all have balconies, satellite television, minibars, Internet connections and complimentary designer toiletries.

Guests can keep in touch or plan a day's sightseeing using the high-speed Internet connections, available for a fee in public areas; multilingual staff can also offer tour assistance and advise on the area's best attractions. The hotel offers use of four meeting rooms, all fully equipped with audio-visual equipment. The meeting rooms can also be arranged for cocktail parties and banquets. There is a coffee shop in the hotel and guests can browse complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Guests can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine in the hotel restaurant, La Galeria, which offers views of Plaza Nueva and the town hall, and features exhibitions of works by young local artists. There is also a traditional Irish pub, the Trinity, on site, offering international beers and Irish food. The hotel is close to a number of attractions: Seville's Cathedral is 250 metres from the hotel and the Giralda, a 12th century Moorish tower, is 250 metres away. Seville San Pablo Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel.
