    The place is great. We upgraded to a suite, which has a jacuzzi in the room, and a kitchenette, and they provided everything we would need! We just didn't get a great view, which I was disappointed about, because we went in November, and the hotel was mostly empty. Also, the only other thing is that the front desk and restaurant, and gym are in another building, and as it rained the whole weekend, it was a pain to walk from one building to another. Otherwise, we really enjoyed ourselves.

    My fiance and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend in November - the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and we were even upgraded to an ocean-view, jacuzzi room! Loved the free wireless internet and Direct TV, and took advantage of the note in the bathroom saying "If you forgot anything, let us know and we'll bring you one!" (I forgot my toothbrush!) The decor in our room was beautiful and the furniture was in impeccable condition. We loved the feel of a historic hotel with the comfort and amenities of a brand new luxury hotel. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool in the Suites building, but hope to do so next time! The restaurant food was delicious - we had dinner and breakfast there. Good selection of foods, prepared very quickly, and served by a very friendly staff. Hotel is very easy to find, a short walk from the Cliff Walk entrance, and right on the beach. We would absolutely stay here again, and look forward to doing so!
