    The price was lower than most others with the same customer rating. It had good restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint was that they charge for internet access.

    This hotel recently completed an upgrade project which produced a nice bar and restaurant with good outdoor space. Hotel is modeled on a european villa, around a central courtyard. The courtyard contains a fire pit that draws guests in the evenings. It's a good place to meet others and enjoy conversation, but also quiet and intimate enough to enjoy the company of just your companion. A nice pool and spa lie beyond the building, and beyond that a public trail along a creek. Rooms are comfortable and clean and met my usual expectations of Hyatt. The staff was relaxed and friendly. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Santa Rosa's historic 'Railroad Square' area, offering excellent restaurants, as well as various stores including antique dealers and art galleries. This hotel makes a very comfortable 'home base' if you are enjoying a few days of wine tasting anywhere in Sonoma county.
