    Older hotel needs updating and maintenance. Staff very nice. Rooms small, no A/C , log bed frame way too big for room size. Wires hanging in hallways ? Old key locks, Lodge on beach with some improvement could be great place.

    Room too dark. Side bed rails posed difficulty to climb over upon getting up. Bathroom extremely cramped. Burn holes in carpet in dressing area. "Pipe noise" during night woke us up. We got the impression we were bothering the receptionist upon our arrival and our departure. However, the hotel is in an excellent location, and we very much enjoyed our view of Lake Tahoe from our room.

Small yet spacious, this resort near the state border is secluded on its own private Lake Tahoe beach, but is still within a five-minute drive of Nevada casinos and Heavenly's gondola. Guests at this resort can hit the slopes, visit the casinos or enjoy the soothing waters of Lake Tahoe. Guests enjoy the use of a pool and hydrotherapy at the health spa. Relax in the eight-person spa that remains open year-round for scenic swimming and soaking. All guests have the option of a complimentary continental breakfast served in the lobby near a stone fireplace every morning. The hotel does not have a restaurant of its own, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Stateline, NV casinos provide complimentary shuttle service between 8AM-1AM at the guests' request through the hotel's front desk.

The lodge offers all accommodations with lake views and all are non- smoking. Every room features a balcony, complimentary wireless Internet access fireplace, VCR and a private bathroom. Wake-up calls and Housekeeping are also provided.
