    This hotel is his horrid shape. when we checked in, the concierge was not friendly. we asked for recommendation or brochures and he gave me the answer "there aren't any attractions close by." i thought it was rude of him. no big deal, we took the brochures and went up to our room. the room was not we had expected. the furniture was very old and smelly. the room stunk really bad, we immediately requested for another room. the other room wasn't that great either - same old smelly furniture but the room smelled a bit better. we knew we needed something to freshen it up. the carpet was so sticky we couldnt walk around without shoes. i would not return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

    The hotel is very upscale in the lobby. Rooms could be cleaner and better maintained. Staff very responsive. Lake House food/service was less than desirable. Nice to have a hotel where there are only adults. Relaxing and quite.

Location. At the lakefront entrance to the bay, Trianon Bonita Bay in Bonita Springs, Fla., is one-half mile from the upscale Promenade at Bonita Bay. Within three miles are the Bonita Springs Recreation Center and the Bonita Lake Resort Campgrounds.

Hotel Features. The boutique property serves complimentary continental breakfasts in the lobby from 6:30 AM to 10 AM daily, including muffins, bagels, croissants, cold cereals, juice, coffee and tea. Pizzas, grilled specialties, key lime pie and nightly social hour are available at the open-air Lake House Bar and Grill. Over 2,000 square feet of meeting space is provided. The property features a heated, outdoor pool.

Guestrooms. Each of the 100 guestrooms stretches across 410 square feet of space and is decorated in colorful fabrics and dark wooden furnishings. Cable television, in-room safes and desks are provided. Coffeemakers are standard. Select rooms feature balconies, terraces or views of the bay.

Expert Tip. One-half mile away, the Promenade at Bonita Bay includes high-end shopping such as The White House/Black Market, Chico's and Bonne Nuit. Dining and entertainment is also offered at the retail center.
