    At a reasonable rate I could stay in well cared for contemporary hotel in Old Town near all the important historical sights. It was a perfect suit for me.

    The Ariston is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo, shopping, etc. The rooms are very small but clean and reasonably comfortable, though we had little hot water on our first day. We complained about the water and it was better on subsequent days, but that may have been because we got up earlier. The staff were in general not very friendly or helpful (much like most of the service personnel in Milan, so you may not have a different experience elsewhere).

The Ariston Hotel is a first-class hotel located in the historical center of Milan, just five minutes walk from many area attractions. The location is ideal for shopping, sightseeing or as a base for touring the region. The first eco-friendly hotel in the area, it has been completely renovated using an environmental approach with the latest bio-architectural techniques. The Ariston is composed of the most natural products available and does not contain any toxic substances. Besides offering complete in-house guest services, the hotel also loans bicycles to their guests. With respect to the environment, only recycled paper is used, the cleaning products used are biodegradable, and the hotel practices recycling of refuse.

All of the guest rooms have an ultra-modern design and they are comfortably furnished. Aside from being air-conditioned, these rooms have ion exchange fortifiers. The rooms also feature parquet floors and a work desk. The nightly rate includes a buffet breakfast, with an alternative selection of healthy, organic items. Even the bathroom amenities and personal hygiene products are produced naturally. Convenient, stylish and eco-friendly, the Ariston is just steps to dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
